Flo-Po Meet-ups during Nov-Dec

Hello Poetry Peeps,

FloPo's next MONTHLY DROP-in POETRY SHARE is Nov 13

Florence Poets Society's regular IN-PERSON meeting is the 2nd Thursday of the month. It's held at the Lilly Library in Florence Mass. 

Maybe go to nearby Cooper's, get yourself a snack, and then come over to the Lilly Library to meet up with some companionable poets and writers. Each person shares one poem around a table. Soft workshop and share. You do not have to be a member to attend. If you have access to a printer, please bring about 10 copies of your poem to share, and if that's not possible, no worries. The meeting lasts until a few minutes before 9pm. Thurs. November 13, 2025 - 7pm (come as early as 6:30 to mingle)!

November Zoom FloPo Meet-up - is cancelled!


 ** ZOOM IS CANCELLED because it falls on Thanksgiving(!) **

  • Thurs. November 27, 2025 is Thanksgiving so there will be no Zoom 
  • AND the 4th Thursday in December is Christmas(!) so no Zoom then either!
  • We do, however, have a Special HOLIDAY ZOOM scheduled for December 18 [*stay tuned for details*] The wearing of Santa hats is highly encouraged! Click your link as early as 6:30pm (to mingle). FloPo Summer Zoom Schedule

 Zoom with us in July (but not Aug.) Here's the schedule for the Florence Poets Society's summer zoom meetings: Thurs., June 26  (this Thurs!) Thurs., July 31 (NOTE: it's the  fifth  Thurs of July (it's usually the 4th Thursday, but there is a conflict so we've squeezed in a zoom the next week) No August zoom meeting  (summer zoom hiatus) We know people are making summer plans so we wanted to share these updates to our schedule. The regular zoom meeting schedule (4th Thurs.) is set to resume Sept 25.  In the meantime,  please do join us for the June FloPoSo zoom meeting this Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 pm!    As a reminder, FloPo zoom meetings are open to all  and deliberately scheduled so as not to compete with the in-person meetings.  If you've lost the link (sorry, can't publish it online) just email: FloPozoomlinks@ gmail (dot com).
