Silkworm, the annual review of Florence Poets Society, is open for submissions!
You are invited to submit your original, unpublished poems to be considered for
Silkworm 16: Wide Open, to be published in Autumn 2023.
Please read and follow these submission guidelines. Submit up to 3 poems of no longer than 50 lines each and include a 30-word bio and contact information (including mailing address) with your submission. Silkworm 16 has an optional theme of Wide Open. Feel free to interpret the theme in any way and remember that the theme is optional.
The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2023.
Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Please paste your poems into the body of an email AND attach your poems in a single file and send it to info@florencepoets.com. Use a standard format such as MS Word Doc. There is no fee to submit.
Everyone is welcome! Members and non-members of Florence Poets Society are encouraged to submit. Accepted poets will receive one free contributors copy of Silkworm 16.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable so long as you inform us right away if your poem is accepted elsewhere. We claim first American publication rights, with rights reverting to the author after the initial publication period; please give us credit in future publications.
