Aug FloPo Meet-up Schedule


Florence Poets Society's summer meetings:

 

  • Thurs. Aug 14, 2025                        
  • 6:45pm FloPo Drop-in Poetry Share, Lilly Library in Florence Mass. Mingling and poetry updates begin at quarter of the hour. Reading begins at 7pm. All poets welcome (you don't have to be a member of FloPo to attend). Got questions? Please email us at florencepoets@gmail (dot com). While it helps to have about 10 copies to hand out, it's not absolutely necessary. For drop-in meetings all you really need is a love of poetry.

 

**No August Zoom meet-up (summer hiatus)

 

IN SEPT we look forward to the LAUNCH PARTY for Silkworm 18. It is scheduled for September 11 and we'll update details shortly but it will be a party and a great opportunity to share poetry.

FloPo drop-in Zoom Poetry share 6/12


IN-PERSON Drop-in meetings
You're invited to the next FloPo in-person meet-up at Lilly Library. 
You don't have to be a member to attend! Just bring about 10 copies of a poem to share. Come at around 6:30pm to meet folks, get settled and share news. Share poetry 7-9pm. 
Monthly in-person meet-ups are 2nd Thursdays at 6:30 pm at the Lilly Library.

Florence Poets Society with Carl Russo in 2004.

FloPo Summer Zoom Schedule

 Zoom with us in July (but not Aug.) Here's the schedule for the Florence Poets Society's summer zoom meetings: Thurs., June 26  (this Thurs!) Thurs., July 31 (NOTE: it's the  fifth  Thurs of July (it's usually the 4th Thursday, but there is a conflict so we've squeezed in a zoom the next week) No August zoom meeting  (summer zoom hiatus) We know people are making summer plans so we wanted to share these updates to our schedule. The regular zoom meeting schedule (4th Thurs.) is set to resume Sept 25.  In the meantime,  please do join us for the June FloPoSo zoom meeting this Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 pm!    As a reminder, FloPo zoom meetings are open to all  and deliberately scheduled so as not to compete with the in-person meetings.  If you've lost the link (sorry, can't publish it online) just email: FloPozoomlinks@ gmail (dot com).
