MONTHLY DROP-in In-Person POETRY SHARE - DEC 11
Florence Poets Society's regular IN-PERSON meeting is the 2nd Thursday of the month. It's held at the Lilly Library in Florence Mass. December's meeting will be festive with a bit of food and some bevs. Each person shares one poem around a table. Soft workshop and share. You do not have to be a member to attend. If you have access to a printer, please bring about 10 copies of your poem to share, and if that's not possible, no worries.

We've condensed the online poetry share during the holiday season to one lovely zoom event. Florence Poets Society's Zoom event is something anyone can attend. It's held online. Bring your holiday cheer and a poem. Each person shares one poem around a table.

Maybe go to nearby Cooper's, get yourself a snack, and then come over to the Lilly Library to meet up with some companionable poets and writers. Each person shares one poem around a table. Soft workshop and share. You do not have to be a member to attend. If you have access to a printer, please bring about 10 copies of your poem to share, and if that's not possible, no worries.

- AND the 4th Thursday in December is Christmas(!) so no Zoom then either!

POETRY SUNDAY - NOVEMBER 9th 2:30 - 4:30pm
A showcase of local poets reading poetry - in support of the Center for New Americans. Florence Poets Society sponsors, POETRY SUNDAY, a November 9th poetry event with a showcase of local poets reading poetry (and supporting CNAM). Drop in Sunday afternoon Nov. 9th for poetry, art, snacks & more. Featured readers include:

Sunday, November 9th from 2:30 - 4:30pm at the amazing Invisible Fountain, at the Eastwards complex, (West entrance) which is 116 Pleasant Street in Easthampton. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, suite 206 and notice the amazing paintings and the sense of joy -- stay for an afternoon of poetry.

- 6:45pm FloPo Drop-in Poetry Share, Lilly Library in Florence Mass. Mingling and poetry updates begin at quarter of the hour. Reading begins at 7pm. All poets welcome (you don't have to be a member of FloPo to attend). Got questions? Please email us at florencepoets@gmail (dot com). While it helps to have about 10 copies to hand out, it's not absolutely necessary. For drop-in meetings all you really need is a love of poetry.

IN SEPT we look forward to the LAUNCH PARTY for Silkworm 18. It is scheduled for September 11 and we'll update details shortly but it will be a party and a great opportunity to share poetry.
