Silkworm 19 OPENS for submissions February 1, 2026. SILKWORM 19 announces the theme "BRIDGE." What metaphorical bridges do you know and what bridges have claimed you as home? 

Silkworm, the annual review of the Florence Poets Society, has been around almost 20 years. Silkworm 19 (will open for subs February 1, 2026). Look for details on the  Silkworm page. Email florencepoets (@gmail.com) with any questions or to request a press release with all the submission details. This year's theme is "Bridge,” but everything is connected to everything else, right?

FloPo Summer Zoom Schedule

 Zoom with us in July (but not Aug.) Here's the schedule for the Florence Poets Society's summer zoom meetings: Thurs., June 26  (this Thurs!) Thurs., July 31 (NOTE: it's the  fifth  Thurs of July (it's usually the 4th Thursday, but there is a conflict so we've squeezed in a zoom the next week) No August zoom meeting  (summer zoom hiatus) We know people are making summer plans so we wanted to share these updates to our schedule. The regular zoom meeting schedule (4th Thurs.) is set to resume Sept 25.  In the meantime,  please do join us for the June FloPoSo zoom meeting this Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 pm!    As a reminder, FloPo zoom meetings are open to all  and deliberately scheduled so as not to compete with the in-person meetings.  If you've lost the link (sorry, can't publish it online) just email: FloPozoomlinks@ gmail (dot com).
