 POETRY SHARE LILLY LIBRARY- AUGUST 13, 2026


It's summer, but if you're a poetry lover, seasons don't matter! Florence Poets Society's regular IN-PERSON meet-up to workshop poetry is the 2nd Thursday of the month. AND YES, we're still gathering. The meet-up is held at the Lilly Library in Florence Mass. Each person shares one poem around a table. It's a soft workshop-share and it's a companionable, friendly, and fun group. TOTALLY DROP-IN! You do not have to be a member to attend! If you have access to a printer, please bring about 10 copies of your poem to share, and if that's not possible, no worries! The meeting typically lasts until about 8:45pm. PLEASE NOTE: if you have mobility issues, please know that due to the concert in the park there will be limited parking. We advise riding with someone who is willing to drop you off and then go around the block to park.
