Silkworm, the Florence Poets Society's annual publication, opens for submissions February 1, 2026. This year's theme is "BRIDGE." What does bridge mean to you? What happened that time on the Golden Gate Bridge? Did you receive a kiss on a covered bridge? Were you on a drawbridge when the.... Submissions open Feb 1! 

ZOOM into a room full of poets! Share poetry and community January 22 at 6:30pm - it's a drop-in soft workshop poetry-share.  FloPo  ZOOM gatherings are the 4th Thursday of the month. Want to share a poem and not worry about the weather? All welcome! (Reminder: you do not need to be a member to drop into Florence Poets meet-ups. You are invited! FloPo's next MONTHLY DROP-in POETRY SHARE is Dec 11th (!) Florence Poets Society's regular IN-PERSON meeting is the  2nd Thursday of the month.  It's held at the  Lilly Library in Florence Mass.  And December is EXTRA FESTIVE, with a bit of food and bev. Wear your coziest sweater and come to the Lilly Library --meet up with companionable poets and writers. Each person shares one poem around a table. Soft workshop and share.  You do not have to be a member to attend.  If you have access to a printer, please bring about 10 copies of your poem to share, and if that's not possible, no worries.  In person meet-ups last until just before 9pm.   Thurs. December 11, 2025 -  7pm (come as early as 6:30 to mingle)!

Each person shares one poem around a table. Soft workshop and share. You do not have to be a member to attend.
