Wow - what a great turnout at the Invisible Fountain
Such a big THANK YOU to everyone who came to support the Center for New Americans at POETRY SUNDAY. The readers, the volunteers, everyone! Special thanks to Luke Cavagnac of the Invisible Fountain and to MC extraordinaire, Anita Gallers, and to Linda Wlokyka, who contributed so much so we could have yummy snacks (and then got a bad cold and couldn't attend!). Special thanks to Ed Hazel, farmer-helper who helped truck the chairs, to Carole Anzovin who baked pumpkin somethings that were amazing. Grateful to ALL the readers! And a special shout out to Amie Hyson, who took some amazing photos, which you can find on the Florence Poets FB account and on her page. Check them out and have fun remembering the day.
